Rights & Asset Management

Selective acquisition, administration and commercialization of media and music rights, managed as financial assets and built to create value beyond passive ownership.

Ownership is not a strategy

Rights left unmanaged decay quietly. Territories go unsold, royalties go uncollected, licensing windows close unnoticed, and the accounting is taken on faith. The gap between what a catalog earns and what it could earn is usually operational, not creative.

Jinks approaches rights as financial assets that respond to disciplined administration: complete registration, active licensing, accurate royalty capture and deliberate distribution decisions.

What the capability covers

The capability applies to rights the platform acquires and to rights it is engaged to administer for their owners.

Rights acquisition
Selective purchases of catalogs, libraries and individual rights positions, whole or partial.
Catalog and library management
Registration, metadata, availability and territory planning across a body of work.
Licensing and synchronization
Placing work with buyers, platforms and productions on commercial terms.
Royalty and revenue administration
Collection, verification and accounting of income streams.
Distribution optimization
Reviewing where and how assets are distributed, and correcting what underperforms.
Monetization strategy
A deliberate plan for each asset: hold, license, restructure or sell.

How we decide what to own

Acquisition competes with lending. Before Jinks buys an asset, the same asset is evaluated as lending collateral, and the better risk-adjusted position wins.

  1. Verified ownership and complete chain of title before any commitment.
  2. A payment history long enough to model, from payers we can assess.
  3. Identifiable operational upside: income the current owner is leaving uncollected.
  4. A realistic path to exit or long-term hold economics that stand on their own.
  5. Concentration discipline across payers, territories and formats.

What we do not promise

No one can promise a streaming outcome, a sync placement or a revival in a catalog's fortunes, and we do not. What disciplined management controls is coverage, collection and cost. Those are the levers we operate.

Discussing a catalog or rights position

Whether you are selling, seeking administration, or exploring value in rights you already hold, start with what the asset is and what it earned last year.
